Using Coupons Is Just A Smart Thing To Do

Using coupons can give prudent buyers a great advantage over the unwitting average shopper. Today being a smart shopper is essential. In the tough economic climate we find our selves in now, we have to make every penny count. Therefore it makes a lot of sense to, to take advantage of coupons and specials, and keep a few bucks in your pocket. The key is to have the mindset of a smart shopper, sometimes it takes a little patience. Remember smart buying is a like game like “monopoly”, and this game has winners and losers. The shopping game, should be played with the attitude of winning, and that by not throwing away every dollar made.
I remember standing in the checkout line at a Ralphs grocery store. In front of me was a young man with a ton of coupons. I was really annoyed, I thought, why do I always get in the wrong line! I had to be somewhere, and I was beginning to run a little late. However after a few minutes, I started to notice the cashier just kept on deducting coupons, from the man’s bill. The young mans grocery bill started out at about $98, but about 7 minutes later, as the cashier finished deducting the last of his coupons, that young man paid just $2 for $98 in groceries. My annoyed impatient attitude slowly turned, to admiration. I had never seen anything like that in my life. I was very impressed with the mans smart use of coupons. I can only imagine how good that young man felt; it was like getting a $96 raise. I wanted to know at that point: how I could be like that very smart young man. I saw the value of coupons, and now I take advantage of them as much as possible. I learned something that day. So a word to the wise is coupons can really make a difference to the life of a savvy buyer.
